Expérience fantastique: The Fehrenbach Driving School is one of the best driving school in Paris for sure. Jaime has really helped me a lot to understand the many rules of safe driving. Online and saturday code classess are also a valuable asset for learning about road safety and the many rules that come with it. The team is highly professional and genuinely dedicated to training students and providing the necessary support. Thanks to their outstanding efforts, I was able to pass the test in first time. Expérience fantastique: A fantastic experience with Fehrenbach for getting my car driving licence..Great support and assistance from Axelle,Charles and the other school teachers who helped crack the dreaded code test and the practical exam test.The Saturday mock tests at the school were such a bonus!!! Exactly like the real code test at the exam centre. Great tips and very warm and helpful school instructors for the driving hours before the test! From start to end they helped me with my application to receiving the exam results to finally getting my permis de conduit! Added bonus are the English books,the 100 questions to practice for the practical driving exams and book for knowing the technical aspects of the care we drove..all in all a throughly researched and carefully planned driving resource material about the French driving rules. Thanks again to the Fehrenbach team and great helpful support! 5 stars and more!! P.S - I took me a year to get the licence from start to end.The delay was mainly because I was travelling and wasn't available for the test dates.

Expérience négative: The school is well enough to pass the code exam for native english speakers. They gain 2 starts are only for that. Well after, the driving practise is the worst. And it's not just my perspective. Teachers are not there to motivate encourage or be paitent but be loud and aggressive ( a couple of them) to make you even more stressed and nervous and refuse to answer your doubts. And yes, you cannot ask them back a refund of those classes as well. So in my opinion if you know even little of French. Try to go for a French school it's not very bad. So choose where to pay your money wisely!

Expérience fantastique: I highly recommend Fehrenbach to help you get through the hassles associated with obtaining your French driving license. I signed up in February 2024, started reading the Code book and taking online classes in March, passed the code exam on my first try in May, and passed the road test on my first try in August. I would have passed the road test faster had it not been for summer holidays and Olympics closures. The team at Fehrenbach are very helpful and know what they're doing. I felt comfortable and (mostly) confident when I went for my tests; Jamie and Angel don't put people forward for tests until they're ready. The French theoretical and practical tests are a bit funky, but the Fehrenbach team made it much easier. I would gladly refer friends here in the future for an English-speaking driving school.

They help you through every step of the process end to end from online and in-person classes to registering you for the written and practical exam with the prefecture. All of the instructors were very helpful and responsive.

Expérience fantastique: From the States obtaining a French Drivers Lic seemed to be a daunting task. The exam is in French as is the driving test itself. Researching various options I decided to pursue the Fehrenbach driving school because of its long record of success and many good reviews. You are encouraged by their instructors in a personal manner, even to the point of helping during the exam itself and riding with you to help with any language difficulty during the driving test. I had an additional problem because of hearing difficulties and the instructors were patient and helpful regarding this. There are many options to pursue in France but I am grateful for their efforts and help in making a difficult situation easy and satisfying. I rarely write reviews but do so in this case because of all the above plus the ability of their staff to be individually helpful. They appear to like what they do.

I have realized that I can not exchange my home license in France quite late & due to family/work circumstances needed to go through the process fast. Schedule of available classes for the code test, availability of time slots for the driving practices & most importantly care, advice and professionalism of the whole team, enabled me to get my license on time and with minor stress.

Expérience fantastique: Overall, I am satisfied with the service provided by the school. I liked the possibility that I could do online classes as preparation for the written exam. I found that very useful because gave me the flexibility to schedule classes depending on my availability. Jaime was very helpful providing good feedback during the classes and trial written tests which help me to understand the areas I needed to work more. I had Angel, as instructor and really enjoyed the sessions and appreciated the tips provided. Her youtube videos were also super helpful so have a look at them!! For a person that has been driving for 20 years already and has difficulties communicating in French, it is quite challenging to change your driving habits and adapt yourself to the French driving system so I really really appreciated the service provided by the school in preparation for the tests because I acknowledge the level of difficulty to pass the driving exams. In addition, the fact that they did all the paperwork was super helpful as the French system can be a bit annoying in that regard. I totally recommend the school if you are looking to have your license.

As a foreigner and a new driver, passing exams in France is quite challenging. However, with the invaluable support of the school's team, I managed to succeed. Expérience fantastique: Although pretty long experience due to available appointments at the prefecture either for the theoretical exam test with translator or for the practical test later, I have driven accompanying most of the school instructors and all of them are experienced and help with you real tips to pass the practical exam. The weekly solved online sessions with Jaime as well are vey helpful and really recommended to attend to get confident in your level before you actually do the exam. My advice that you have to be patient and give yourself a window of at least 4 months before your international driving license expires to avoid stress on your side if you fail the either theoretical or practical tests. They teach in english language so its a big advantage for estrangers like me to fully understand the driving laws in france before hitting the road. They have online and face to face lessons to choose from. Of course not to forget madame Carole my instructrice. Driving in France is very different from Philippines specially the observance of rules and how French drivers think on the road. Its not an easy transition and this school guided me through the process. Don't expect it to be a walk in the park but definitely Fehrenbach Driving School will teach you all that you need to be safe and homogenize with the French drivers. After a disastrous experience with Ornikar, (in which I passed the written test but failed the driving), I came to Fehrenbach and learned exactly what I needed to know, got a test date as soon as I was ready, and passed it. I took advantage of all the resources made available to me and passed both exams on the first try. Expérience fantastique: I enrolled this program nearly a year ago to get prepared for the code test and driving test. I have more than 30 years experience driving already and I thought I do not need additional training, however, I realized that this training is absolutely necessary . The staff are very experienced and well informed about the code and driving tests and the tips that they provide to their students are very valuable. They use very good "technical" English language and the right "terms" to express each situation which makes it a lot easier to understand the point of the question asked in the test. The code tests are designed for "French" way of thinking and analyzing the situation which may be slightly different from other countries which at times may be annoying but the staff are aware of these points and are able to fully explain the differences with driving in other countries. This comparative analysis is a very valuable skill of the staff in this company. The staff are very friendly and flexible and welcoming and accommodating. Honestly, I think I learned a lot of new things which I never knew before ! I highly recommend attending this school which provides the students with very essential knowledge for safe driving and safety of the community .

Typically in France it's hard to pass a driving test as the exam is in French, however here you can get a translator who helps you with the test. The cost is also about average for Paris. The instructor is super helpful, and has a sense of humour. The book they give to prepare and their online tests/classes are also pretty good. I'd recommend it for English speakers/anglophones looking to get a driving license in France.

This driving school is the one used by my company for their English speaking employees and therefore, it's quite reputable and I did not hesitate to sign up. The office is accessible by public transport. Clean toilet and coffee machine are available to use :) The registration process was efficient. The application was submitted on the same day I sent the required documents. All kind of payment method is accepted (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX etc.) and it's possible to pay by installment using check, which is convenient. The theory/code part is well covered by frequent online classes with an actual instructor (thanks Jaime) as well as physical classes, that gives you the opportunity to try out the device used for the exam. The book and website practice materials were quite concise and helpful as well. The driving part was straightforward, and in general, those were completed as per plan. I was lucky enough to have been guided by almost everyone from the school (Jaime, Anne G, Carole and Axelle) so it was a great opportunity for me to get multiple point of views and guidance, based on their own teaching methods and experiences, to improve my poor driving habits and to adapt to French driving culture. I took the 20 hours manual gear package and it was completed in 2 months. It might have been faster without the administrative delay from the ANTS/prefecture. Super efficient. Both Code classes and the driving classes are done very professionally and they are extremely useful not just to clear the test/exam but also understand the Code.

Expérience fantastique: Fehrenbach is a good school. They are effective with English speakers, and if you follow their classes and online tools, you will do fine on the written test. The driving instructors are excellent. They are patient and understanding all levels of driving (even when very experienced and you need to modify habits for the French rules). They provide excellent guidance and advice, and will help you get to a successful conclusion of what would otherwise likely be a very challenging process for a non-French person. Highly recommend!

Expérience fantastique: I can't imagine a better experience getting my license in a foreign country than the one I had at Fehrenbach. The entire staff was friendly, deeply competent and considerate. Covid safety was priority and other students were a pleasure to interact with. Everything about studying code and doing practical lessons that led up to a successful driving test was made as simple as possible, in spite of France's exceptionally high standards for new drivers. I already had an American license when I started this process but I feel like a much sharper and more capable driver now as a result of the excellent education that I received at Fehrenbach.

Expérience fantastique: I started with Fehrenbach before COVID. They were amazing. I'm an expat and had to change my license so I hadn't reviewed the material in years! They gave amazing theory courses and practice session and gave me confidence--pushing me to take the test much sooner than I anticipated--and I passed. Then, due to COVID, I had to take a break and they took me back immediately and brought me up to speed within no time. I passed the practical after a month and on the first try! I came to Paris from New Jersey, U.S., and unfortunately, NJ is one of the states whose driver licenses cannot be exchanged to a French one. The French driver license tests are famously difficult, comparing to the tests in U.S. I passed my code test and road test, both on the first try, and ALL THANKS TO FEHRENBACH Driving School. My instructor, for both code and driving tests, is JAIME. He is wonderful! The code classes Jaime runs, in English, are clear, comprehensive, and persuasive. He patiently teaches students not only the what's and which's of the code and the rules, but also the why's and how's. Once the rules make sense, it is much easier to handle the test questions, especially he tricky ones. For the 4 driving sessions, Jaime quickly spotted my old driving habits and effectively helped me to change them. He also clearly pointed out the "cultural differences" between U.S. and French driving. In fact, everyone at the school is great. Professional, experienced, pleasant, considerate, flexible, and caring. Thanks to Fehrenbach Driving School, I now have my French driver license, and I also become a better driver. I am a retired American living near Paris and I felt this would be an almost insurmountable task as my French language learning has been very slow especially during the COVID pandemic. I accidently found through a Google search the Fehrenbach Driving School offering training to pass the code and the driving test in English and I was thrilled at this gem of discovery! It still was not easy, but with the school's good materials, online training and personal touch, I was able to pass both the written and driving tests on the first try!
